Jaime Sabines' poem, “The Lovers”, turns into the interlocutor with whom we converse about love, or rather, its lack. Every line of Sabines' poem is followed by a poem by Miguel Maldonado. Although reality, especially in its literary form, does not oblige us to answer it, the words are triggered by a reflex action: reading is a dialogue.
