In this artist's book, scholars from different latitudes converge on a common geographical point: that of the poet of Mixcoac. Each one bears brief testimony to the intellectual legacy of Octavio Paz. These authors share the aim of situating Octavio Paz' universal quality at the center of his thought. He was universal in two ways: as a poet nourished on knowledge emanating from other cultures and as one who influenced thinkers from other regions. He was universal in his comings and universal in his goings. He drank deep from the original springs and also created his own original thought, which permeated the thinking of the twentieth century.
